  • Usage data: pages you visit, search queries, clicks, scroll depth, time of visit.

  • Publicly posted Google review content shown on our Website through our review aggregation tool.
  • Analytics data from Google Analytics 4.

AI and Chatbot Data Handling

Our Website includes AI-powered tools, including an AI-powered site search and an interactive AI chatbot assistant (“AskMe Agent”). When you interact with these tools:

  • What is collected: the text of your queries or messages, and session context such as the page you were on and recent messages in the same conversation.
  • How it is processed: your inputs are sent to third-party AI service providers we contract with. The AskMe Agent chatbot is powered by LiveAvatar (api.liveavatar.com). Our AI site search is powered by Cerebras and/or Ollama. These providers generate the AI response under their own data-handling terms.
  • What is retained: queries may be logged on our servers for up to 90 days for analytics, quality improvement, and abuse detection.
  • What we do NOT do: we do not use your AI queries to train foundation AI models, and we do not sell your AI interactions to third parties.
  • How to opt out: you can avoid our AI tools by not submitting queries. To request deletion of past AI interactions associated with you, email sales@tessa.tech.
  • Limitations: AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions — session management, form submission, and security. These are required for the Website to work.
  • Analytics — measuring traffic and usage via Google Analytics 4.
  • Performance — caching via WP Rocket and content delivery and security via Cloudflare.
  • Marketing — retargeting and conversion tracking where applicable.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may impair Website functionality.

Analytics

Data Retention

  • Contact form submissions: 24 months from last interaction.
  • AI site search and chatbot queries: 90 days.
  • Analytics data: per our Google Analytics 4 retention settings (default 14 months).
  • Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe.
  • Legal and accounting records: as required by applicable law (typically 7 years).

International Data Transfers

Our Website is hosted in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
